House Arrest - SWANS
Words: Eerie Rose & Jas Eade
House Arrest are one of South East London’s cult favourites, looped into the multi-talented cesspool of musicians that chop and change between a variety of projects, regularly appearing at venues such as The Windmill and The George Tavern. They are loud and brash, consuming all your senses with charismatic performances, with guitar riffs that grab your attention and a style that blends raw chaos with refined skill and intense energy.
“SWANS” is the latest, and by far heaviest, addition to the House Arrest single roster. Kicking you in the teeth from start to finish with fuzz, fury and freak, these five fools of South and East London express a belligerent message of disgust towards the likes of Andrew Tate and other such real life cartoon characters of current times. From the 8ft tall bass stomping through the beginning to the cacophony of noise and anguish at the end, this track will fill your entire body with glorious vexation towards all who have done you dirty.
Hold tight and enjoy the show before the ceiling collapses.
You can watch a previous live show below, or catch them in the flesh at the next Garagebashing night at Windmill Brixton on September 7th (tickets here).
