Lonely Objects: CHAOS/ΧΑΟΣ

Lonely Objects is a design project by Marilena and Eirini Kalogera, two sisters with a background in art and a love for the textures, materials and forms of everyday life. It is a creative initiative focused on the possibilities of jewellery to be both a fashion and an art object. Lonely Objects is a platform that gives us creative freedom to bring to life wearable concepts of art, while constantly exploring new materials, textures and concepts that trigger our curiosity. Our brand serves as a playground for creativity with a focus on forms, textures and materials to create genderless and sustainable ceramic pieces. All our jewellery is handmade by us. With a focus on sustainability we try to minimise our emissions and waste by maintaining a slow production, as well as re-use and re-purpose damaged products.

Our first collection CHAOS/ΧΑΟΣ is inspired by textures and details of nature. Influenced from corals, the beauty of the unknown, the need to explore and touch and the intimacy of that action; the collection explores the lurking presence of chaos through the purity of the porcelain clashing with the agony of the perforations.
